Sit back and watch, while encouraging from the sidelines! It’s amazing to watch children in this group develop their independence and motivation throughout the 10 sessions! Our classes are highly organized and provide your child with the perfect environment to develop their learning and listening skills in an engaging group setting through both structured, and unstructured, play. At this stage, children have opportunities to refine some early learning basics, such as; counting, colours and matching. Your child will sharpen their social skills as they are encouraged to make friends with their teammates, practice introductions, greetings, high fives and even cheering on their new friends. You will enjoy watching them take instruction from coaches and work to apply the direction given. Ready? Set. Go! We can’t wait for your mini to unlock this fun learning experience.

Last stop before the WMBA 7-8 Co-Ed big leagues! Our classes are highly organized and provide your child with the perfect environment to “learn to learn and listen”. Maybe they have gone through our programming before, or you are trying to expose them to different athletic opportunities. We believe you and your mini will love this engaging and purposeful group setting that offers both structured, and unstructured, play. We continue to offer a refinement of early learning basics, such as; counting, colours and matching, problem solving and mathmatics. In this group, your child will begin to feel like they are “part of a team”, as they take part in team and partner challenges. Children develop social skills through guided activities including weekly introductions, team greetings, high fives, and cheering on their teammates. They also explore independence from their caregiver as they progress through our specially designed Move, Learn, Play Curriculum and take instructions from coaches. Coaches pair mini’s based on their size, experience and ability. Discover a love of basketball and the independence that comes with your child diligently and independently working on their own movement and basketball skills!

“I can do it!” Sounds like your two or three year old? Well, yes they can! Watch your mini move, learn and play! Our classes are highly organized and provide your child with the perfect environment to develop their learning and listening skills in an engaging group setting through both structured, and unstructured, play. Your mini will continue to improve and refine early learning basics, including vocabulary practice, colours, counting, matching, imaginative scenarios. Your little one will be encouraged to make friends with their teammates, practice introductions, greetings, high fives and even cheering on their new friends. They will explore moments of independence from their caregiver as they progress through our specially designed Move, Learn, Play curriculum. Parents / Guardians decide the level of involvement based on their child's independence and comfort level. Please except to participate, especially if your child is at the beginning of the age range.

Watch your mini light up and explore new concepts! If your able bodied child can walk they are ready to join the fun! This means, if your mini is an early walker (10 + months) they can join. On the other hand, if they are over one but not yet walking, they should wait until they are moving independently to join our introductory group. Our classes are highly organized and provide your mini with the perfect environment to develop their learning and listening skills in an engaging group setting through both structured, and unstructured, play. Your mini will be engaged, encourage to move, and presented with early learning basics, including vocabulary practice, colours, counting, matching, imaginative scenarios and even practice identifying basic body parts. Your mini will develop their social skills as they play in a group. The infant/toddler class also provides opportunities for independence from the main caregivers as children progress through our specially designed Move, Learn, Play curriculum. Parents, grandparents and other family caregivers absolutely love the memories made in this class with their mini’s.
