We are hiring for fall/winter. We are in the world of early education, therefore we aim to hire individuals with teaching/coaching experience. Lead Coaches (FALL/WINTER 2023-2024)

Must have extensive coaching and/or teaching experience and the ability to oversee, delegate and manage a team of coaches.

Must be great with kids and have an engaging and fun personality.

Must have a love for the game of basketball and the desire and ability to be highly active while demonstrating and participating in back to back classes.

Must be willing/able to drive to various locations around Winnipeg and transport necessary equipment.

Must be willing to work indoors/outdoors (rain or shine)
Assistant Coaches (FALL/WINTER 2023-2024)
Assistance Coaches:

Must have a minimum of 1 year of coaching/teaching experience, work well with others, take directions well, and be a great communicator. Must engage kids with a fun and warm demeanour and outgoing personality.

Must be able to confidently give directions and instructions in front of a group, even if you are not the lead coach.

Must have a love for the sport and the desire and ability to be highly active while demonstrating and participating in back-to-back classes.

Must be willing/able to drive to various locations around Winnipeg.

Must be willing to work indoors/outdoors (rain or shine)
Build Your Skills - Give Back
We all need to start somewhere. If you do not have the required work experience or skill consider applying as a volunteer. We accept a small number of volunteer coaches that attend a minimum of 50% of the term sessions (e.g. 5/10 sessions). We believe this provides a pressure-free environment to grow your teaching skills while benefiting from the example/mentorship of our experienced coaches. This is also a great option for retirees or individuals looking to help or assist their mini-community members. Volunteers must complete a volunteer screening which includes a child abuse registry and criminal record check.
