Education:Graduated Maples Collegiate in 2019. Currently taking a year off university to work before returning in fall 2023.

Passions/Hobbies: After getting the opportunity to live in Europe for a summer, I gained more of an appreciation for traveling and exploring new places. I love trying new foods and being able to experience different cultures and their traditions, and also music.

Professional Aspirations:I hope to become an early childhood educator or an elementary teacher. This is one of the many reasons why children at Mini Ballers are a great group for me to be working with!

Personal story: The moment I realized my love for traveling: In the summer of 2022 I got the opportunity to be an Au Pair in Europe. It was my first time traveling without any family or friends so at first, I was more nervous than anything. The fact that I was about to embark on my summer adventure in Europe alone didn’t really hit me until my flight from Montreal to Lisbon, Portugal. The moment our plane flew across Portugal alongside the Atlantic Ocean was the moment it felt real. I remember being glued to my window in awe of how blue, clear, and wide the water was and how charming the architecture from above looked. That moment sparked my love for traveling and experiencing new places. Of course along with that came the work of being an Au Pair to not one, but three little girls!

Sharing the experience of traveling with them, after arriving and bonding with them, made the experience of exploration even more enjoyable. With my new found love of traveling, I had the chance to explore a total of 5 countries that summer, filled with amazing foods, different languages, different cultures, and new friends! All the while I was providing care for the girls, and ultimately, discovering new things about myself. I believe that this summer had a monumental part to play in my personal growth as a young adult trying to navigate my way through life, and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity. It was truly a summer I will never forget and will forever hold a special place in my heart.
